Strong Towns Podcast

Today, the Restless Urbanist is featured in the Strong Towns Podcast, and I encourage you to take the time to listen. I had the pleasure talking to the talented Chuck Marohn who is the director of Strong Towns. Chuck was on a world wind Florida tour, and he took some time to stop by my Jensen Beach house. We discussed several of the topics that have been converging on both our blogs that ranged from fiscal conservatives perspectives on growth, and the public planning process. Neither of us held back, so we had a really frank discussion on these issues.

It was a real pleasure to talk to Chuck, who is advocating across the country a better way to build cites. If you have not already explored www.Strogntowns.org you are really missing out. The mission of Strong Towns is to support a model for growth that allows America’s towns to become financially strong and resilient. The site is full of observations and solutions that should be discussed in your community.

It is a real honor to be part of the collective knowledge supported through Strong Towns. Take some time and check it out through ITunes or Strong Towns.
